Day Nine

Things don’t seem to work out the way I want them to.

I fully intended to take a photograph of something else this morning.

Instead, knowing that what I planned wasn’t going to work out, I quickly pulled into the KFC parking lot and took a few clicks.

The lights shining on the dark building drew me in. The empty parking spots. The darkness of a cloudy early morning.
