Day Four

Happy New Year. Let’s hope 2026 treats us better than 2025. Last year was a hard year for me. Here’s to trying new things, letting go of what doesn’t serve us, being gentle with ourselves, and creating something beautiful.

It’s snowing here today. I did go outside to take some pictures at 6:30 a.m. There’s just something about how the flash of my camera lights up the snowflakes. I didn’t stay out long. It was too cold and I’m always a bit nervous about exactly how much wetness my camera can take before it gets damaged.

I came inside and used my macro lens. Admittedly, I’m not that good with it. It has a very small point of focus and needs a ton of light.

I have a second photograph for you today. I know this is A PICTURE A DAY, but I’m making an exception today. I’ll probably make more in the future.
